Julie Brahn, PhDholds MA and PhD degrees from UCLA. She has taught academic composition at all levels and literary criticism at Antioch University, Los Angeles for 32 years. Julie has published articles and book reviews. Her concentration is in the practice of lyric poetry.
Robert Fox, MFAholds an MFA degree from Antioch University, where he
specialized in creative nonfiction. He has been published in the LA Weekly
and for the past three years has worked with the non-profit organization
InsideOut Writers, teaching writing and life skills to youth in juvenile hall.
Kimberly Mack, MFAholds a BFA from New York University, an MFA from Antioch University, and she is currently working towards a PhD in English at UCLA. She writes short fiction and personal essays and works as a music journalist for national and international publications. Kimberly also teaches creative and academic writing at various colleges in the Los Angeles area.
Alistair McCartney, MFAholds a BA degree from the University of Western Australia and an MFA from AntiochUniversity, Los Angeles where he presently teaches creative writing and literature in the BA and MFA programs. His writing appears in numerous literary journals, fiction and creative nonfiction anthologies, and his novel, The End of the World Book, was published in April 2008.
Kathryn Pope, MFAcompleted her graduate work in AntiochUniversity's MFA program. Her teaching has covered a range of writing and English classes, including grammar, composition and research, and creative writing. As a teacher and as Director of the Bridge Program, Kathryn's work has focused on helping students see writing as a way of thinking, rather than a set of rules to follow.
Gleah Powers, MFA received her BA and MFA in Creative Writing from AntiochUniversity, Los Angeles where she recently taught an undergraduate writing workshop. While in the MFA program she completed her first novel set in the 1960s. Gleah has worked as an actor, dancer and painter in New York, Los Angeles and Mexico City. She is currently at work on a second novel.
Michael Steffes, BAis a student in the Master of Arts in Organizational Management program at AntiochUniversity, Los Angeles. An avid football enthusiast and chronicler, Michael understands the value of statistics, which he teaches to students in addition to mathematics, computer skills, First Class and Sakai.
Bob Thomas, BAreceived his degree from AntiochUniversity, Los Angeles. For the last four years, Bob has assisted students enrolled in statistics classes. He also works closely with students studying mathematics, including preparation for the CBEST exam, and those interested in boosting their computer skills.
